Problem with NetMos 9865 PCI Adress was created by etnur
Hello everybody.
I've recently used a NetMos 9865 PCI Parallelport card on my motherboard.
Unfortunately the I / O address changes after each restart.
Is there a possibility to fix the address?
I have searched a few forums and found this here.
linux.robert-scheck.de/hardware/parallelport-karte/
But also the Parport.conf has brought no solution.
I hope you have a way for me.
Many thanks in advance.

What is your current loadrt parport line look like in your hal file?
If your system only has one parallel port and your loadrt parport line looks something like this (using what ever memory address you have.)
Change it to:
This will cause Linuxcnc to use the 1st parallel port on the system, what ever address is assigned to it.

loadrt hal_parport cfg="0x20A0 out"
