G Codes not working was created by Davidson55
Good day. I am new to Linux CNC. I have been working with the owner of Sherline. Great guy but he's too busy to help me on every issue I have. So, I am coming to the Linux CNC community for help.
I am using BobCAD-CAM for my CAD/CAM. After I complete my drawing and create my G-Code, I then transfer it to my Sherline program. I have a Sherline 4400 lathe. I am using version LinuxCNC/Axis 2.9.0. I was given a sample program from Sherline. I ran the program with no issues.
I am looking at the g-codes I created and the sample code, they're totally different.
If someone has the time to give help would be much appreciated. If I need to post the g-codes, let me know. Thanks in advance.

Isn't it the point of CNC that every program can be different?
Joking aside:
I guess if you post the two codes, you might have more replies quicker.
