Need help setting up a lathe(Sherline)

I have these, www.sherline.com/product/67127-stepper-motor/#specifications

I wanted those since I know the dimensions would work and other have used them while manually using the machine as well.

manually using the mashine while steppers/DYNAMOS are connected is quite a chellenge for the Drivers
Analog drivers like D542 may produce 150V towards the electronic while turning the Spindel manually

be aware of that you can get nice quick connects between them it is nor a good work but safe
and you will fast realy fast find out you mashine no longer needs manuell as of subs on the controll will get you fast into conture

I know I would need to disconnect them to do any manual work. I just want the option in case I need it. I am just starting out.

Do they sell the female side of that connection? It would make wiring it easier.

They have the harness, they are a little more expensive though.

You will be wiring from the driver to the windings in the motor. Having a connection like that will make it easy to unplug to work manually.

But if the other side is only sold with the control box you may need to get a different set.

I found a pack of 10 on Amazon for cheap. 4 pins and they have a screw retaining ring
