Peter,

I managed to have communication with the 7i77. through the I / O.

but with the 7i64. has been impossible.

the I / O of the 7i64, when I walk by HALMETER CONFIGURATION.

I see them like this:

hm2_5i25.0.7i64.0.2.digin.xx.input
hm2_5i25.0.7i64.0.2.digout.xx.output

and do nothing. while setting all things with them.

the 7i64 to 7i77 is connected via a cable directly to buy him mesanet. TB6 --- SERIAL PORT

If you see those, you _do_ have communication
what is your actual problem?

Note that the 7I64 outputs are individual floating switches so need to be connected to a power source in addition to the load. for example:

+24VDC --> 7I64OUT7+ --> 7I64OUT7- --> LOAD+ --> LOAD- --> 24VDC-COM

The inputs are the same, for example for a switch:

+24VDC --> SWITCH1 --> SWITCH2 --> 7I64IN9+ -->7I64IN9- -->24VDC-COM

The problem I have is that inputs or outputs do nothing.

eg

the foot-chuck (micro switch)

connect the switch to 24VDC input. and output to an input of the 7i64, when you press the switch must not be operated that input? not doing it.

I try to understand what I wrote last. you mean that I should feed each output with 24 VDC for it to work?

Could you please tell me the other way. more for dummies.

so for this to work you need to connect switch pin 1 to +24V, switch pin 2 to 7I64INx+ and 7I64INx- to 24V GND or common

No problem :-)

This is a really common mistake with the 7I64 or 7I37 wiring since
inputs and outputs are completely isolated from each other, they all need a
complete path from power back to ground/common

This type of I/O is more flexible than the 7I77 type but involves a lot more wiring

guys

I am sorry but I could not configure well my home machine.

the error I have it in the connection of proximity sensors.

has 2 wires, connection 8 to 55VDC.

is connected well.

24VDC ==> + sensor ==>-sensor ==> input 7i77

I have the following readings.

unchecked.
between 0V to 24VDC input 7i77 = 9.0 VDC
between GND to input 7i77 = -14.9

activated
between 0V to 24VDC ==> input 7i77 = 20.1
between GND ==> input 7i77 = -3.9

the machine goes to home but not stops when it reaches the sensor. until it reaches the limit switch and alarm pulls.

Those readings don't make much sense
First it should not be possible to have a negative reading.

When making measurements, the negative voltmeter lead should always be on GND
and the positive voltmeter lead on the 7I77input.

Can you measure again with the voltmeter connected this way?

this are the readings

not activated
between 0VDC ==>input 7i77 = 9.0 VDC

I dont understand what "0VDC to 24VDC"
means. You should have 0V=GND and 24VDC

Please measure the 7I77input voltage from the 7I77 input pin (plus meter lead)
to the 7I77 I/O GND (TB2 pin 8)
