7i43 200k firmware for serials and encoders

Hi, I´m new to this forum and come from germany

I´ve retrofitted a Klopp CNC Mill with LinuxCNC. The basic I/O and servo configuration
runs with a 5i20, 2x 7i37 and 7i33.
Now I want to embed a control panel with poti for feed-override, electronic handwheel and some buttons.
Two encoders for spindle control are also required.

For this I´ve bought a 7i43 200k (runs already on parallelport). My plan is to use this with a 7i52 and the pendant control board 7i73.
So I need a firmware with configures the 7i43 for 6 encoder channels + 6 serials.

I haven´t found any suitable firmware in this forum.
Knows someone a suitable firmware for this?

A konfiguration with an 7i44 (8 channel serial rs 422) would also help me.

Thanks,
Henrik

freeby.mesanet.com/7i43ss.zip has 2 bitfiles for 7I43-200:

7i43_svss4_4s.bit for 7I33 and 7I44
and
7i43_svss6_4s.bit for 7I52

Note 4 sserial ports is all that would fit in a 200K FPGA

Hello,
I just tried it but linuxcnc break off with following error message:

The firmware is loaded by following path in .hal:

Thank you very much.

The firmware works (even the analog feed override with poti), but I have still two problems:

- input 5, 7 and 9 of the 7i73 switch simultaneously (not single switchable)
- the component "matrix_kb" doesn't work, so I must buy another input card (via smart serial bus) to realize my buttons

You should check your input levels, inputs 0 through 7 (since they can be used as analog inputs) have neither pullups or pulldowns so can float and follow nearby pin states do to capacitance and leakage. If you wish to use these pins as digital inputs you must either connect to SPDT switches or provide pullup/pulldown resistors.

Whats wrong with the matrix KB component?

It should work. The 7i73 is just about the only thing I tested it on.

What is the problem?
