7i92 7i77 7i84 Configuration was created by lawley
Hi there
I am new to LinuxCNC, I am busy converting a Weiler lathe, I have a 7i92 with a 7i77 and 7i84 Mesa card. I have converted the HAL and INI files from a 5i25 configuration. If I go into the HAL meter, I can see all the pins on the 7i77 and the inputs and outputs work as expected, however although I can see all of the 7i84 pins, all of the inputs show as TRUE, even though nothing is connected to them.
The fact that the 7i84 pins show, means that the card has been seen by the 7i92.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

That's really weird, have you checked you field power ( both A and B )?
Sounds like something wrong there

Thank you for your reply.
I had the W1 jumper selected to have VIN connected to VFieldB but had mistakenly connected the power to VFieldB instead of VIN. everything is now working.
