Generic Zynq or Artix-7 card was created by sokrates
Is it difficult to modify and compile the firmware for hostmot2 for a generic (i.e. not Mesa) FPGA card like a Zynq or Artix-7?
When searching on internet, I've found Zynq firmware for the Machinekit hm2_soc_ol driver. Is that driver useable under LinuxCNC?
For LinuxCNC I've found firmware compilable through ISE, but I've also seen somewhere that someone has made it compilable by Vivado.
How would I go about preparing firmware for a generic Zynq or Artix-7 card for use under LinuxCNC?

I am also curious, just got an email from Chinese online retailer promoting a FGPA enabled raspberry pi AKA Lychee HEX ZYNQ7020 FPGA Development Board Raspberry Pie Edition.
