Mesa Wiring RS422 6i25 <-> 7i84 was created by MatthiasF1210
Hi,
I am confused at the moment and have a very basic Question on RS422.
I am building my own breakout board to connect a SSerialCard 7i84 to the 6i25 using a MAX491 chip. Therefore I need to match the RX/TX Signals and I am not sure about the datasheet here.
In the Datasheet of the 7i84 pin1 is named RX. Does that mean that the SSerial - RX Pin of the the 6i25 should connect here (like in my schematic) or the SSerial TX?
My Shematic:
Thanks
Matthias

Yes FPGA TX goes to 7I84 RX (and vice versa)

Thanks,
I had change my schematic, now it's running.
