We're putting together frames from T-slot aluminum extrusion and keep running into the same practical issue: once you change overall size, the cut list and the nuts/bolts/brackets have to stay in one slot system, or you end up with parts that look right on paper and don't assemble.

We built a free web helper (Slot & Shaft) for DIY furniture frames first—desk, table/workbench, linear shaft shelf. Resize in 3D to the centimeter within safe ranges (desk in 3030 or 4040); parts list from the same design data as the model; lines point to US sellers (Amazon / Misumi). Metric + inches; no account; free. Kits waitlist only. We're the operators — hello@

For those of you building CNC / LinuxCNC machine frames from extrusion: when you resize a frame, do you rebuild the BOM by hand, or is there a workflow you trust so the cut lengths and hardware still match? Any practice you'd recommend before someone orders a pile of 3030/4040?
