Hello, a new release is out:

Blender CAM 0.7.0
Mainly background work, but some optimizations fixes, and some interesting new features - custom cutters, shape packing algorithm being the most fancy ones.

Hi, a new release of this addon is out:
blendercam.blogspot.com/2014/09/blender-cam-080.html

a lot of small improvements ;)

Also, I have a question:

Can somebody edit the wikipage about CAM? This page became non-editable a looong time ago, and it is not possible to update the information there.
There are 3 new versions of blender CAM since this page was updated...

Anyone can edit the page, I have just logged in and got editing rights.

Click on preferences at the bottom of the page

Put in your user name and a password so someone does not commit carnage under your moniker.

Enter the name of the LCNC mascot in the administrator password field
(if you don't know it, PM me)

That it

Blender is a monstrosity and a magnificent piece of software, so yes, it is always worth the time and effort to learn it, not only for CNC.
