Im new with this type, previously used 5i20 with different setups.

Im finding a lot difficulties to get my setup to run.
I tried ready setups wound in internet 5i25 + 7i77, not working even after taking watchdog lines out.
I tried to make new setup pnconf, not worked ether.

it crashes to first 7i77 parameter or signal.

Any quick tips how to get started?

If the first parameter or signal is a 7I77 parameter, that suggests you have a power problem

I would check:

1. 7I77 5V source
2. 6I25 jumpered properly to match 7I77 5V source
For 6I25 powers 7I77 5V: 7I77 W5 LEFT, 6I25 W2 UP, TB1 unconnected
For external 7I77 5V power: 7I77 W5 RIGHT, 6I25 W2 DOWN, TB1 supplied with 5V
3. 7I77 Field power (8 to 32V)

Hello PCW.

I will check power jumpers setting.

Could be the reason, I was just quick checking components on table, will they work after got them from shipping.
Packet had seen some abuse(By Finnish postal service ), but you guys did packing really well.

OK

First problem solved, I had no Power from 6i25 to 7i77.

But still same same problem, first 7i77 signal not found.
Depian and 2.7.4 version linuxcnc.

I'm using some setup found from Internet, did not find anything included with linuxncn livecd.

Debug file information:
.
./7i77.hal:48: Pin 'hm2_5i25.0.7i77.0.0.input-00' does not exist

Hello

Got it working.

I did complete new HAL File with PnCConf, now up and running.
Problem was like you suggested power jumpers from 6i25 card.

Thanks for quick reply.
