Hi!
I'm trying to configure an plug and go kit from mesa. So in PNCconf when i select 7i77x2 with one 7i77, in the next page I haven't the 7i77 choice, I can only see the 7i71 with tb2 and tb3 pin configuration . How can i configurate it with the 7i77?

If not ..please specify what version of linuxcnc you are using.
and exactly what you did to get the result you see.
And finally a pic of what you get probably would help too.

Thanks Chris M

Thank you Chris . My Linux version is 2.7.0 (now i have update to 2.7.11) and I'm on beta1 with PNCconf

I'm in axis configuration , i have chosen one mesa card 5i25 internet and 7i77x2 with one 7i77

I can see the 7i77 in the I/O connector but i can't do some change. I can change just on one roll menu and i have the choice between a lot of mesa card but not the 7i77.
Idon't have the same configuration like you : 7i77 i/0 ss#0 , 7i77 PWM ss#1

I can't show you the pics , I don't know why my upload doesn"t work.

I share with an hosting.

ok there is a bug with pncconf - you must run it with an english locale.
this might help with the idea:

thank you Chris !! it's works!!

So I have a new problem, after configuring pncCONF I can't run linuxcnc , I think it's a problem about the parport address.

And I have an other question about my endstop, I have three switch, how can I connect them to the 7i77? Did I need to powered them?

You don't need a parport if you have a 5i25 and 7i77. I would suggest going back to PnCConf and removing any references to the parport.

Also, your initial problem might have been that you were dropping-down the dedicated smart-serial port on the 7i77, and it was asking which smart-serial daughter (grand-daughter?) cards you had attached.

Thank you so much! too easy....

So, I have no power supply on TB1 , CR1 CR3 CR6 and CR7 are yellow fix, CR16 is off and CR15 is blinking green at 1Hz when LinuxCNC is turning on.

I'm not shure but i have connected all the Vfield power and also Vin to the 12v on TB2, Can you confirm for Vin ?

If you have the W1 jumper in the left hand position, you only need to supply power to VIN. Is something not working? The blinking green led tells me it is working. Are your inputs and outputs working? Are you getting an error message?

Without any power supply to TB1, you are using the 5 volts from the computer.

Though possibly worth pointing out that that the actual limit-switch wiring there is a little unusual and should probably not be copied exactly.
