Dear One,

There is an error encountered when i go forward from X axis tuning page in PnCconf. Have attached the screen shot. Any help will be highly appreciated.

P.S : Linux CNC version 2.7.14
5i25-7176 card

Thank you for your quick response Chris M,

I was using en_IN locale which i changed to en_US.
Now everything is working fine.

I have 6i25-7i76 on 2.7.15 and changing the locale from en_IN to en_US is not solving the problem!

Yes, exact same message. I ran 'sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales' and chose to generate all locales. After power cycle, os started in german language and the problem was gone. After that I generated en_IN commenting out the rest. The issue is gone, I don't understand how though.

i ran into the same python error when using pncconf of LinuxCNC 2.9 , and fixed the problem with this tutorial :
