7I76E Cant Get Steppers Moving was created by EXTRA370

				7I76E control board
4x tb6600 stepper drivers
4x nema 23 steppers
Using 10.10.10.10 with 7i76e direct to onboard eth via cable.
Used pncconf and got connected to linuxcnc.
Problem is I have no stepper movement, I am hooked up on the bench with just one controller connected to axis 0 (TB2 pin1-6).
Tried various ns delays, not sure what would be hanging it up.
machine is very basic, no switches or homing.
Attached hal ini and wiring connections for stepper driver.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try setting the step time to 10 usec (10000 ns)

Tried that and several other combos, was also reading that the cheap TB6600 controllers are like reboxed tb6560 drivers, and the link below shows 150000ns, i tried that too.
No combo has even made the motor even twitch, just locked solid, with about a half amp draw holding it.

Why you wire DIR+, PUL- to 5v? I guess you mean PUL+ TB2 got DIR+ (pin 5) and STEP+ (pin 3) connectors, try with them.

did you set your Network static
auto enp0s25 << change to match your interface name
iface enp0s25 inet static
address 10.10.10.11
netmask 255.255.255.0
can you ping the 7i76e
via terminal
ping 10.10.10.10
the 7i76e has bidirectional connect to the tb6600

I have this in the interfaces.d/setup
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 10.10.10.1
netmask 255.255.255.0
Ill try the bidirectional hookup now
Thanks
EDIT
Tried bidirectional and various step timings. After that connected tb2 pin6 to en+ on the driver to enable and tried again.
No luck.

i have tried wiring a few ways
PUL+,DIR+ to pin6 5v
pul- to pin2 step0-
dir- to pin4 dir0-
and
pul+ to pin3 step0+
pul- to pin2 step0-
dir+ to pin5 dir0+
dir- to pin4 dir0-
and
pul+ to pin3 step0+
pul- to pin2 step0-
dir+ to pin5 dir0+
dir- to pin4 dir0-
en+ to pin6 5v
mesaus.com/info/7i76e.txt
and may try these in the morning
7i76e Note: if you use single ended drives:
For common anode OPTOs (common+)
you connect the step drive common to 7I76E +5 and use the 7I76Es STEP- and DIR- pins
(the STEP+ and DIR+ pins remain unconnected)
For Common cathode OPTOs (common ground)
you connect the step drive common to 7I76E GND and use the 7I76Es STEP+ and DIR+ pins
(the STEP- and DIR- pins remain unconnected)
thanks for your input

You're welcome, it's the least I can do with all the help I'm getting here. I have those same Drivers and a 7i76 and Nema23, wired this way I do well. Have you checked that the coils are well matched? correct power? notes that the engine takes torque? Noise? I had a pair of crossed cables at the beginning. All the information you can provide is helpful, and if you could put a picture or connection scheme, it's better.
Taking a look at the attachments, I at the beginning also connect them to 12V and they just had strength, I stopped them with a finger, I got them 36V and they go great. On the other hand in the INI file I see that the Max_Linear_Velocity do not match, they must at least coincide in the sections DISPLAY, TRAJ and AXIS

It looks like you have the drive wired to stepgen 00 but in the hal the first active stepgen is 01.
You can just move the connector to the 01 or 02 or 03 stepgen, or edit the hal file to use the 00 stepgen.
