Fault into the 7i77? was created by Catch22
Can anyone tell me where I would wire in the fault on the 7i77 board from the drive. I have made a board to enable the AMC drives and for each axis it has
Ena+
Ena-
Fault
I know where the enable + and - go into the 7i77 just can't figure out where the fault goes. The fault goes from 7i77 through cpc1333g

you can use all drive fault together to stop the mashine as somthing bad has happen
you can use any input you like

if it is a bigger machine shut down the mashine by connecting this to E-stop chain

I see no need for adding those circuits and as far as i can recall those outputs on the 7i77 are isolated.
As bbsr_5a said, you can use any of the 32 inputs on the 7i77 for the fault, preferably 1 input for each axis as that would alert on the exact axis that caused the fault.
