Can pncconf be used to setup a mesa 7i76E in mode 2?

Hello, on my CNC lathe I have a spindle encoder, and a MPG handwheel. I need to set my mesa 7i76E into mode 2, and I would prefer to do it in pncconf if possible. But, there doesn't seem to be an option to do so. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

unfortunately Pncconf does not have a way to set mode 2.
Manually editing the files after the fact is the only way.
