I studied how drive control works with the Mesa card and found an error in the arrows. I know it doesn't affect the function, but it's confusing.

it should be right:
net x-index-enable  => pid.x.index-enable
net x-output     => hm2_7i96.0.stepgen.00.velocity-cmd

I use LCNC RIP 2.8

The first arrow is correct (index enable uses a bi-directional pins),
the second one is backwards.

Edit: No You are right PID index enable is an input pin
(motion and encoder index enable are bi-directional)

Note that the arrows don't actually do anything, they are just
there for readability
