Finally have wired up my cabinet and tried to pncconf but getting a
no hostmot2 firmware downloaded in folder /lib/firmware/ hm2
using raspberry pi4, 7i76 mesa card.
I can ping the mesa card on 10.10.10.10 so that part is working
Very new to Linux, pi and mesa
Search tells me that the hostmot2 is no longer used.
An aadditionalissue is that I only appear to get the top section of the pncconf screens showing when compared to the manual

That is just a warning, it needs those files only for older Mesa boards, new ones do not need it.
On the page where you choose the card there is a button "apply...." click on that, it should show all the pins and functions of the 7i76.
What language are you using?

PNCConf issue has been sorted - my 7" screen didn't have enough resolution so I updated to a 13.3 inch touchscreen and all good.
