Hi guys,

i am new here my name is Michael. Currently I am trying to flash the MESA bit Files on
my 6i25. The Card is recognized by my system.
Command:
lspci -v
shows me the Info in screen 1.

I am using the latest Linux CNC pre config from the website, it is also up to date.
I installed it 2 weeks ago. The mesaflash is also up to date.

Command:
sudo mesaflash --device 5I25 --write 5i25_7i76_7i85s.bit
shows me the Info in screen 2.

I hope someone can help me, I've also tried several slots on my computer. Just a little bit about the LEDs when the card is switched on, the LEDs light up briefly and then go off again immediately. I also checked whether the card is in 33Mhz, which was the case.

Thanks in advance!!

Best regards Michael

The card is found but something OS or BIOS related has disabled the memory port.
Are you using the latest mesaflash and what OS/PC hardware are you using?

Hi Thanks for the fast answer!!

OS:
LinuxCNC 2.8.4 Debian 10 Buster

PC Hardware:
Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z
AMD FX-8350
8GB G.Skill DDR3 RAM
AMD Radeon R9 390 Power Colour

The Bios settings are all set to default, I could not find any settings for the PCI ports.
Link to the motherboard manual:

dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/SocketAM3+...hair%20v%20formula-z

I have already read through it but unfortunately found nothing, maybe I have overlooked something.

And yes I have installed the latest version of metaflash, per Terimal command (sudo install metaflash).

Many greetings Michael

Start a LinuxCNC configuration created with pncconf for a 5I25
