is this a bug was created by lendrum
I am setting up a router with 3 servos through mesa 7i43 big and 7i40 boards. The io setup (screenshot2) did not allow setting the amp enable output bits 21 and 22. The x axis test (screenshot3) gave an error when trying to enable the amp.

The error message was:

self.update_axis_params()
File "/usr/bin/pncconf", line 5624, in update_axis_params

The terminal probably show more info to give clues about the "broken pipe"
A broken pipe usually means there was a HAL error of some kind.
killing pncconf and typing dmesg may give more clues.
Do you have the firmware downloaded?
You mention screen shots but I don't see them.
If you saved the config can you send me the {yourfilename}.pncconf file?
What version of EMC are you using?
Thanks Chris m

The screen shots did not upload because they were png. I will try a pair of gz.
There is no config file because I cannot get past the test page.
The mesa 7i43 is not getting configured. Do I need to run emc first to program the board?

You can upload png but the file and picture size is limited.

So without more information I can not help.
The screen shots are covering a bit of information in the terminal that may give a clue to the problem.

When you say output bits 21 and 22, which are you talking about?
you might mean pins 21 and 23 of the pwm gen? Those pins don't need to be configured.
pncconf automatically connects them.
I have not familiar with the 7i40 but assume the pin outs it requires from the firmware would be the same as the 7i33. Other wise it would need other firmware.. I will check on this...
I checked - the firmware will work with 7i40.
