EuSurplus is now accepting crypto as a payment method

Starting from today afternoon we will accept crypto as a standard payment method. We are forgetting Paypal.

Reason? Paypal fees are huge, that is ok for most users, but they are always changing the game rules. Last week I received an order from a client of about 400€. Due to the lack of boards (yes, our stock is very low now as we cannot get boards to resell) I asked the client if he wanted a refund, as I always do when I cannot supply.
Client said yes, and I refunded the client in full. The problem is that paypal, that before also refunded me the corresponding fees, now no. I lost about 13.45€ with a transaction that did not occurred. This got me mad and I searched for a solution. Unsure if crypto is the solution, but we will try it.

This is experimental and can be removed at any time as we are just starting.

For the most conservatives, still wire transfers are available.

Paypal, Afterpay, ClearPay, ZipMoney and other BNPL providers all do not refund fees. I wear it on my ecommerce store as my penance for offering something for sale I don't have in stock

Normally my stock corresponds to the real parts in stock.
When we deal with wire transfers the stock is discounted when we ship the goods, and this can provoke ruptures in the real stock. Also, my store allows orders for out of stock products (I think it was the case of this particular sale).
Normally I would be able to restock fast, currently I cannot.

hmmm...... I am struggling on the ordering..... I miss PayPal. or even a credit card option.
