Hi
From what I can gather the 6040 is a cheap Chinese gantry router
It seems to use the Chinese TB6560 controller, about which you will find quite a bit of info on this forum.
You will probably need to open the controller box and see what is written on the board and what colour it is, there are several different types with conflicting pinouts etc.
Then download the relevant manual, the only thing I know for sure about them is that they won't work without a amp enable for each axis and if you exceed the rated voltage they go bang!
