Can anyone help? I've had this error with every instance of Gmoccapy I have installed over the last 3 years. From starting in a terminal as I always do.

that seams a mousepad problem
did you install gedit as well
and use in ini gedit
or if gedit is the editor try to use mousepad

Changing or omitting the editor in the .ini file has no effect on the error.

I doubt this will have much bearing on the subject. I have had this problem for over three years, 2.7, 2.8, 2.9.

I have been ignoring it for 3 years now! Now that I have the Plasmac branch running so well I was hoping to get rid of this niggly error and have configuration that starts with no errors.

This undoubtedly is a problem related to hal_sourceview - it sets up markup for Gcode colors etc.
Looks like maybe a search path is not set or initialized properly.
If it's really important to you please make a formal bug report here:
