Hey

I finally managed to set up 7i76e with handwheel in Hal,
but I don’t have physical axis select buttons.
I was thinkin to add buttons to gui - is there any tutorial how to edit the Gmoccapy gui itself (adding buttons where jog buttons are). Or is the only way via gladevcp addon?

You can edit the Gmoccapy GUI but I wouldn't recommend that. You have to adapt that on every update.
I would do it with an embedded GladeVCP. If you use LinuxCNC 2.9, you can even put it in the area where the Jog +/- buttons are and replace those. See linuxcnc.org/docs/2.9/html/gui/gmoccapy....tabs-and-side-panels.

Hey
thx

I started to make new tab, but I cant get it starting when make Hal connections.

It says that my pins doesn’t exist - even than i can see them via hal meter.
Connections are made in custom_postgui.hal section.

I believe that my ini section is bad?

Sry I don’t have internet in the linux pc.

Your EMBED_TAB commands look good.

So your VCP is displayed correctly and you can see your pins in halshow/halcmd/halmeter etc. ?

Then let have a look at your postgui HAL file...

But it would be more efficient if you can post your configuration (INI and HAL files and your glade file)
