Great to hear that it's working. BTW which config sample did you use? The SKRv1.3 config doesn't have the encoder index pin enabled. Just makes me wonder if there is a bug in the encoder configuration code.

I just removed everything but stepgens for now.

There was an error in the encoder creation code, thanks for helping find it! Pushed the latest code and firmware to the repo.

Hi Bari,

When I saw your other post on this I ordered myself a W5500 ethernet module. It's now waiting for some experimentation...

Correct. If there is anyone with experience the W5500 on Mbed LPC1768, development help would be more than welcome.

Prototype Remora adapter boards to cleanly connect the SKR v1.4 to the RPi arrived in the post this week. Came up really nice. I really like how it's possible to power the RPi from the controller board. Less wiring the better.

AFTER you have your rPi with a network connection and get the Remora software with the following command:

git clone github.com/scottalford75/Remora
NOTE: there is an https:// before the github.com URL

Then you cd to to the LinuxCNC software component for Remora with:
cd Remora/LinuxCNC/Components/Remora/

Then you run: sudo halcompile --install remora.c
