I can't seem to find the J1 on this board anywhere, and I'm using a magnifying glass, or is it on the underside of the board?

Could I try and use 2.7k 1/2 watt resistor, that's all I have here right now?

To invert the inhibit on the AMC amps, you have to removed the soldered shunt on J1 seen in the attached photo:

Finally found the J1. Now is the J1 the one right beside it or the one with the white box around it.And do you have to take the board right off or can you remove it just as it sits.

Yes, the one in the box. It's a 0 ohm resistor loaded there. You simply need to remove it. You don't have to pull the board, but you need to make sure it's powered off first.
I would also make sure to watch out for ESD. One side of this resistor is most likely a direct connection to a processor input pin. I wouldn't run out and buy esd wrist straps and such, but I wouldn't pull it off while sitting on a wool chair, in a carpeted room, in Arizona, during an August dry spell either.
