No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configuration
A multimeter in diode testing mode should tell you which is the LED.
Then you can try driving that with 5mA or so, and see what the other pins do.
One of the little component testers might also be useful:
(As a randomly chosen example, not as a specific recommendation)

any ideas?

max rpm should be 3000rpm
phase A and index pulse
can i add phase B to my system?

What is your actual base period? That will decide whether quadrature is possible.
You would also need another input pin, and an extra sensor.

Hi Andy,
I don’t remember the exact value right now.
Can you please explain me what is actual base period?
What is for (purpose)?
What are vital factors and limitations?
I’m excited to know.
I have little idea about latency test.
But base value always confuse me.

The base thread period is the period (in nanoseconds) at which the encoder counts will be sampled.
If the value is 20000 nS (20µS) then the sample frequency is 50kHz.
So, if the A / B transitions come more frequently than 50kHz you are likely to miss some of them.

From where 50Hz came from?
I am currently install linux cnc to
Pentium 4 D processor 1Gb ram 128 onboard VGA included desktop pc.
What is the highest base thread value to perform threading precisely.
I think I should run latency test first.
But I think you will have a better solution!
Thank you for help you gave me so far and as well as other members

50kHz = 1/20µS

@Andy
There is 1 zero to many on the base timing.
@DinukaShehan
50kHz, not 50Hz. 50kHz is 50000Hz, or Hertz, or signal changes per second.
Regards,

Assuming you want to use parallel port , you need the RTAI version of the kernel for that computer, and if it is good as some Dell P4D i had you can safely use 50000 for the base thread.
Linuxcnc will let you know if the base thread is to fast, so start from that and if you do get real time errors, raise it a bit and test again
