hi
I need some guidance on identifying the motor in this machine.
manual gives below information
it doesn't cover serial number of this motor , esp encoder . anybody has similar motor or relevant information?
thanks
riaz

No, I think the drawing is correct because the chart says the enable is active low
So
EN0+ to pin 14
EN0- to 24V ground
So drive enable grounds PIN 14 when enabled

But do please wait for PCW's confirmation.

Well assuming the chart is right...
Note that in most cases you can easily check if an input
needs a NPN (sinking) or PNP (sourcing) signal by measuring
the input voltage when unconnected. If the pin reads a large positive
voltage when unconnected, it needs a sinking driver (pulls to ground)
If the pin reads close to 0V when unconnected, it needs a sourcing
driver. (pull up to 5V,12V or 24V usually)

So far from experience, if a drive has a 24V pin ( or 5V or 12V ) it will require all input pins to be brought to that potential to activate, while if they a have a GND pin they would require bringing inputs to ground level to activate. And from that chart i saw a 24V pin, so ......PCW wrote: Well assuming the chart is right...

HI All,
I was able to run the machine finally . All axis and spindle are working . But I have an observation on Y and X axis . During Jogging I am finding that axis is jerking . I have taken the Halscope plot . See attached pics for reference
enlarged View
Logs are also attached .
To verify hardware and connections I scoped using oscilloscope . encoder pulsed looks clean . (no gaps or missing pulses .)
Z axis is working OK . Anybody faced this issue before ?. Please guide.
Thanks
Riaz

Do the jerks happen at the same locations?
