How to setup a 4axis gantry plasma machine using gmoccapy?

I received an error message because Synaptic added it without the http prefix, so I edited it from terminal. Now, the Linuxcnc 2.8.0_ja is installed.

the sim/axis/gantry ha started but gmoccapy/gantry-JA didn't start

Amongst the cruft, this is the error:
Could not open command file '../../gmoccapy_postgui.hal'
If you edit the gantry-JA INI file to remove the reference to the postgui file, or, alternatively, add an empty gmoccapy_postgui.hal file, then it should run.
