Problems with referencing Fenja was created by icy
Ich am struggling with Linux CNC and an Mesa 7i76e and an Fenja.
i can move all axes in the pncconf
If i start an reference run, Z will move to the inductive endstop and stops correctly, but than i am getting an error: Error /Axis /Joint 2 on endstop
i ve tried a lot of different configurations i found on the internet and the forum, but sometimes nothing worked, sometimes one z with the error from above
Maybe someone would be so kind to throw a short view and can give me a hint ?

In the ini file:
HOME_OFFSET = 0.000000
set it to 2 or 3 mm on all joints/axis with home switches. Might also need to add - in front of it for some axis.

Did you look at:
linuxcnc.org/docs/html/config/ini-homing.html
If you have shared home/limit switches. you cannot have a HOME_OFFSET
of 0 (because you will end up sitting on the limit switch when homing is done)

Thanks a lot, the tip with the home offset was part of the solution.
Now my Fenja is going home like a good girl

I'm running into the same problem (
forum.linuxcnc.org/49-basic-configuratio...roblem-homing-z-axis
) - but I already set HOME_OFFSET to 2 (and tried -2 as well). Can you post your ini which works here please? That would be great!
