ARE YOU KIDDING ME YOUTUBE !!!

On an interesting note supposedly the YouTube I.D. thing started on 8-13-2025. I still haven't been asked to
verify my age even when I pull up video's with out being logged in on my Linux computer. So we will see if
it becomes a whole lot of nothing. I am still hoarding as many video's about stuff important to me as I can. 

I have not seen anything either.
Yesterday I cracked my the  monetisation target, First time getting enough views in a week to get paid. but I want to get there faster than 50 weeks!
I edit in kdenlive on Linux. Slowly getting the hang of it.

  At this point I am starting to hoard software programs as well. Who knows how long before "They" decide
to start blocking open source stuff .

Very good idea, especially since i have nearly 5TB of free space on my NAS.

You should be able to install a gitlab at home too.  docs.gitlab.com/install/docker/ then you could clone what you want into your trpo

I have looked into monetisation, but it looks like my lifetime earnings would have been about $25 over the last 15 years, and I prefer not to annoy my subscribers with adverts.

I wonder if ads are connected to monetisation. I think youtube puts in ads "always".
It's just you get a share of the income. When I was active I got around 100 bucks every three months.
In the end I ran out of subjects and appreciated being without the constant chase for content.

I am just now building a 56TB NAS, but not for me.
Also, i never use Docker nor any other ProxMox, Jellyfin, VM, etc.
I use bare metal for everything, and even that as simple as possible.
The security concerns win always with me.

Two days ago i noticed this happening, but i thought the uploaders were doing it, apparently not.
