Thanks @Turboss and no worries @masterjuggler glad you got it sorted!  can you take a small video of it working?  i've still yet to set mine up even though i've bought the component that will capture the amperage and output an analog signal..  but you did remind me i had it on a shelf somewhere so i pulled it out and dusted it off so i could start planning its install!  :D

Attached a quick demo of the spindle load bar working if that helps give motivation lol.

By the way, on a totally unrelated note, how are you supposed to configure the pin display on the status page? I see that I can edit each pin's name and the card names, but I haven't been able to find how to either set them up in the gui or add them to a config file.

EDIT: seems I can't upload a proper video, so I zipped it. Oh well.

It seems to be updating in real time, if a bit stuttery. But it's entirely probable that's caused by the fact that I'm running LinuxCNC on an AMD Athlon x2 lol.

I have been trying to the same as in this thread but i seem to not be able to find halcompile

For my install i used the joco-nz bullseye installer to install the dev version of probe basic and linuxcnc 2.9

I am not sure if you would be willing to share your compiled version as i also have a 9 amp max for my VFD.

Hello

To get halcompile you need to install linuxcnc-dev or linuxcnc-uspace-dev

thanks.
Code:
cnc@debian:~/linuxcnc/configs/CNC-ANDI$ sudo halcompile --install load_conv.comp[sudo] password for cnc: Compiling realtime load_conv.c Linking load_conv.so cp load_conv.so /usr/lib/linuxcnc/modules/

percent = round(amps/0.12);

is for 12A at 100 or 150%?
