Translation

Hello everybody.
I need help with the translation, currently translating the entire file "NATIVECAM.PO" to Portuguese BR, I used POEDIT for this and it already compiled for "NATIVECAM.MO"
I can't get nativecam to find the .MO file to translate.
The .MO file is located in the folder " /usr/share/locale/br/LC_MESSAGES/ "
Could someone help me how to do this procedure

This is not a LinuxCNC topic as NativeCAM is an external tool.
If the procedure described here: github.com/FernV/NativeCAM/blob/master/locale/translating
does not work, you should probably create an issue there.

Otherwise I wonder if it's worth spending time in that project as it only supports LinuxCNC 2.8.
It was updated 3 years ago, so it's questionable if it will be migrated to Gtk3/Python3 to be compatible with the LinuxCNC future versions.
 

Hello. Sorry but nothing is clear in this procedure, " github.com/FernV/NativeCAM/blob/master/locale/translating ".
It asks to test the translated file in a cloned directory and not in the real NativeCAM directory.
I already have the file translated and compiled to .MO
I need to know how I can make NativeCAM accept this translated file as the default for the translation to take effect.
