Pathpilot how to start? was created by mgiaco
Hi,
So I would like to setup Pathpilot 2.0 for my own build router. I am running machinekit with bbb now but I am not happy with this setup. Can someone recommend me a mini pc or any other pc setup i should use. And which mesa cards are the best ones for pathpilot.
So I need this to start:
1. Buy an USB stick from Tormach 2.0 Update
2. Buy any PC or Minipc
3. Buy mesa cards and a BreakoutBoard
Did I forgot something?
Many thanks
mathias

I am using PathPilot with a Mesa 7i92. My bob is an old PMDX-132, best fit was Tormach 440 configuration.
You might have to make a custom cable to get the PP pins alinged with your bob, esp. the motor speed and direction.
I am running on an older Intel Atom 945 board. You will need a second ethernet connection to use internet, keep the Mesa card on its own physical port.
Just be aware that updates overwrite any changes you made to hal and ini files.
