Hi all,

I have visited this site often and I have always taken without giving !

Well now it may be time for me to pay back

Here is a you tube link for my quick and dirty Pathpilot atc test.

The green led on the arduino simulates a drawbar solenoid and the red one stimulates an air last, the left hand stepper it the tray in-tray out and the carousel is obvious.

The code is not quite finished but it does work, so if there is enough interest I will post it when complete.

Please let me know what you think...

Cheers I.

Been waiting for this! The last part I need for a tool changer and I am too dum to figure it out on my own...

Please post code so that I can give it a whirl.

I have an Mega and opto isolation boards to go with it. Can it run on an Mega. I do have a complicated single arm ATC that I can test with.

I was just thinking about this today, and thought I'd check to see how it's going. Any good progress?

It would be amazing if you could share the code and your instructions. I already designed my atc but I have never learned the electronics end of machining. Also what hobbies had another $5k to throw down after they already had to buy the machine. If anything tormach should make it a learning exorsise for their customers and allow them to build their own atc and help them the programming side instead of writing the rules to block arduino. I was looking and saw rules in the etc/udev/rules.d/ that blacklisted arduino brands and certain USB serial adapters. Has anyone else noticed this? It's something like 77-usbdeviceblacklist in the rules.d folder. Again I'm not a code writer but to me I think it had an ignore command in it.
