Hi All
Looking to start setting up my 7i76e with pathpilot. Does anyone know what would be the correct bit file to use to get the full I/O i.e mode 2?

Standard firmware should be fine
SSerial modes are set in the hal file

Do you know which bit file is the standard firmware? I’ve downloaded the pack from the mesanet site but there are a few different versions for the 7i76 in there.

The standard firmware is pre-loaded in the 7I76E
the bitfile would be 7i76e_7i76x1d.bit
the bitfile would be 7i76e_7i76x1d.bit

To avoid bitfile overwriting you need to edit your base or specific .ini file in ~/tmc/configs/tormach_mill and set "BITFILE0=mesa/7i76e_7i76x1D.bit", or whichever 7i76 bitfile you want to use.

or symbolicily link the file to the default bitfile so no changes needed to the ini
