Probe Error causes Jog lockout

2.9.4, Probe Basic

Probing failure either a g38.2 or g38.3 locks out the jog, 
Estop cycle , machine power cycle , probe on or off, homing, locks out jogging in all directions. Any way to reset this without restarting Linuxcnc?

Axis works fine, QT dragon also works fine. Its just Probe Basic

are you changing back to manual or mdi mode and is the probing routine your running completing and changing back after being in auto mode?

It wont let you change the mode, its gets locked out. I gave up on getting probe basic to work

when you say locks out, were you referring to keyboard, on screen buttons, or both?

if you still have probe basic installed, would you mind running a test in the simulation? I am running a sim test here and cannot reproduce the error using the on screen probing buttons. i can probe a point in space and immediately jog afterwards using both the keyboard and on screen buttons. so its hard for me to discover why your install is not responding the same. but if you test the sim and the problem does not exist then it would be something in your configuration most likely.

load tool 99 probe tool, move probe tip somewhere clear in the work envelope, use inside corners probe page and select a single move probe routine, trigger the probe by clicking the probe graphics probe tip. try jogging to see if sim repsonds correctly.

 

I am unable to reproduce the error on the sim because I needed to trigger the probe while it was going to home or the starting location to start probing. This would cause a G38.2 error then the lockout would start. I ran a debug and returned a [Error] from a specific routine. I should have grabbed a screenshot.. I noticed a difference in the sim subroutines folder vs the subroutines folder I got from the github. I replaced all the files and lockout is no longer accruing
