Probe Basic Fusion360/FreeCAD manaual tool change workfolow?

Hi, I am new to linuxcnc. Now i got my machine running with linuxcncn and mesa. If someone like to see my config ongoing

github.com/mgiaco/ecam_cnc => axis
github.com/mgiaco/ecam_cnc/tree/probe_basic => probe basic

So my long time goal is to write a program with fusion360 oder freeCAD and then mill with auto tool change on my machine.
So before i go more forward i would like to ask if i need this tool_length_probe  change (github.com/TooTall18T/tool_length_probe) also for the current version of probe basic.

As a beginner it´s really a little bit confusing because it seems that there is alsmost everything ther in probe basic now in the actual version. I wachte the  video from ToolTall18T but this is 2 Years old i think. So can someone give me some help here?

what is your machine spindle tool type? tooltall is for non repeatable holders or er collet type holders where the preet length in the holder is not static. probe basic's native setup is for repeatable holders such as bt30/40 cat40 etc
