Transparency Question

Hi,

My team is trying to use Probe Basic for some milling functions.  We would LOVE to be able to set transparency effects on different STL files in the MACHINE_PARTS file/variable.  We'd ALSO like to be able to show the models, and the mill paths behind them.  Is this possible?  Whats the best way to do this with the smallest code change possible?

that would be handled in the VTK backplot display python and cpp files in qtpyvcp backend. probably not a small code change and vtk is one of the most complex code sections in qtpyvcp because it comprises of multiple files for different actors, and we recently have made the cpp updates to help with large file loading so it can be confusing. bu7t that is where you would look for coding changes to accomplish what you are wanting!
