I'm assuming this one is directed directly at cmorley
Going through and making QTVCP work sans python2, and also doing a general pep8 pass on a fair amount of it. What would be essentials to get done aside from passing tests?
Is this wasted effort? Has it been done else where?
One thing I keep running into is lib/python/qtvcp/lib python 3 keeps confusing the two libs, I'd like to make one explicit qtvcplib or something similar to keep them straight.

I have not started any conversion to pyhon3 for qtvcp yet. I am upgrading a computer to buster just for that purpose. I am interested in any help you can give. I have little experience with dual python runability. I originally thought I would just convert to python3 for master.

I'm currently working on the impression of removing python2 altogether, but might be able to go back and do dual python runnability.
Currently most things are working (on my custom GUI) but proper testing suite might be better.
