Why use checkboxes in the tool table? was created by ucancallmebob89
I'm not sure if this is unique to qtvcp screens, but on my tool table tab the checkboxes make it possible to select more than one tool at a time, when I'm only ever going to interact with one at a time to either delete or load it. Wouldn't it make more sense to convert the checkboxes to radio buttons so that only 1 can be selected at a time?
Is there another reason to have multiple selection for this that I'm not thinking of?

I agree. Radio buttons would make much more sense.

They were made that way for two reasons.
When first building gladevcp and qtvcp widgets the examples on the net had checkboxes.
deleting multiple tools seemed reasonable.
In master this has changed recently - still checkboxes but only one can be checked.
