QtDragon Utilities ????

Is anyone working on any additional Utilities for QtDragon?
single hole drilling?
boring?
rigid tapping?

Just curious. 

No others that I know of.
Jim adapted Ngcgui to qtvcp recentlyits in the utilities tab.
Also now you can embed qtvcp qtvcp panels into the utilities tab.

also, I would like to add an LED or something for limit switches.

also, I don't see the limits in halglib.
but of course they are in hal pins, could you give a little direction.... please.

NGCGui is mentioned but with no detail.
It works similarily as the original NGCGui though the process is slightly different. If you know NGCGui you should be able to figure it out. I have not had time to thoughly test it. Jim (qtdragon's creator) built it.

hardlimits are tracked by STATUS (AKA halGlib) as 'hard-limits-tripped' message
status image switcher can change images in a label based on hard limits.
If you want simple LED indicators, I could add it to the state LED widget.

i'll look through the doc link you gave.
for the limits, I saw the -tripped in halglib, but could not see individual trips.
I would like to see the individual limits. an LED would be totally adequate.
If you could add them that would be cool. maybe the homes while you're at it.
Let me know when you get it done and so I can look over the widget and see how ya do it.......

Ok, state_led now has properties:
neg_hard_limit_state
pos_hard_limit_state
hard_limits_state
(don't forget to select the joint number too)

Home is already there:
is_joint_homed_status

got little LEDs working for the axes limits.
