Auto-populate Tabs in Qtdragon NGCGUI?

Hello,
Not sure if I'm missing something or if this feature is just not implemented yet: using NGCGUI_SUBFILE in the INI file doesn't seem to work with the qtvcp version of NGCGUI. I looked at the ngcgui class constructor in the python module and I don't see where ini settings are being read but I could be wrong as I'm not sure how this is all supposed to work. Am I missing something?

It doesn't look like Qts version looks for NGCGUI_SUBFILE.

It looks for SUBROUTINE_PATH under the RS274NGC heading.

I take it NGCGUI looks in NGCGUI_SUBFILE?

I'm sure that can be added.

Yes according to the ngcgui docs and that’s how pyngcgui works in other UIs. I have subroutine path properly defined in my INI but I’m not sure it does anything. Even the qtdragon sim files have the path defined but nothing seems to load by default.

I will look into adding auto population of tabs to qtdragon. Thanks for the feedback.

I already contributed the code and Chris was kind enough to clean it up and integrate it into master

Yes, but I'm going to add it to my github source which Chris has stated that he will eventually use to update the sim configuration.
