4x8 Plasma Table was created by CBEAR
Well, I started the actual build in March, but I've been planning it for around 7 months. It's almost done, just have that last 1% to finish up and then it will be put to use to replace my 4x4 table. I'm coming from Mach 3, and I'm not very good with software, so the computer part has been the hardest thing for me to do so far!

Very nice, indeed ! :)
If that is a water table, please do not leave the Hypertherm under it.

Thank you! It will be moved before I ever fill it up with water. It's just under there as storage right now.

I have a question. The way that my scribe is set up, I've got it all on one solenoid and controlled by different regulators after that. So it should home in the z, offset in the x and y, and then fire the solenoid which will send it to the plate and turn the scribe on. My scribe is on a mini spring loaded slide so that it can "float" on top of the material. Is it possible to just use a single solenoid using plasmaC? Or do I have to use two?

If you wanted to. I think you could use just the scribe-arm output to both deploy the scribe an also turn it on. Just set the "arm-delay" to zero and the "on-delay" for enough time for the scribe to deploy and start.

Thanks Rod, I bought a 5 pack on Amazon for like $15 and then burned out and bent the brackets for them. They are each rated for 110lbs so I think they should work for what I usually cut.

One of these days you are going to fire the torch where there is no material and poke a hole on the table , then all that water is going to .......
And what are you hiding there on the right side of the machine ?

TBH I hadn't thought about that. I will do something about it, probably a sheet metal shield.

And what are you hiding there on the right side of the machine ?

A Triumph Bonneville.
