Firstly GREAT THANKS to every contributor to this forum. My IQ made exponential growth reading the stuff available here.
I show milling machine FCV63 CNC done with 7i97+7i84+PLC.
The machine is equiped with DC motors and DC servo drives MEZOMATIK.
The machine works mainly in manual mode like standard milling mill, although allow full CNC use.
Most problematic was the spindle gear box, because it is 2 steps, and it took a while until I understand that.
Programming of spindle gear change is done separatly in PLC, and PLC only signals to LXCNC that the spindle gear box is ready.
Gear box still causes sometimes trouble but it is not my problem: solenoid valves and mechanical gears.
As you can see and hear on the movie the machine is working in tough conditions and with such chips at its limit
, although that was testing, now is less loaded.
