M.2 can be :
4xPCI-E lanes
Or
SATA
There is a notch on the M.2 cards to differentiate between them, and some mainboards can work with both on the same slot.

not motherboard expert ... so ask because plan to change my old I5 6500 to some other .... if I leave out M.2 wifi card in these case can solve problem, or bad code on bios work for waste latency in every case?
