Advice needed: Custom gear switch component

Leider einiges zu tun, die letzten Tage und keine Zeit gefunden, die Files zu von der Maschine zu ziehen.... kommt noch.

Die 2821 ist ja eine ganz späte FP4A. Meine ist von 81 - eine der ersten voll-CNC- Deckels - die mit dem "Eierkopf"

I didn't know, you're also german.
Your 2821 is a pretty late machine - mine is one of the first Deckel CNC machines from '81

P.S. Ich schreib Dir 'ne PN, wenn's i.O. ist. habe ein, zwei andere Dinge, die ich noch bzgl. LinuxCNC abklären muß. Auf Deutsch ist das schneller erklärt, als auf Englisch.

Hi, would it be possible to get the gearbox .comp. I have a FP4 that I am switching to Linux CNC and your skript would push me into the right direction.

The comp is already post number 3.
Copy and paste this script in a new file and named to gearswitch.comp
load the linuxcnc-dev packet compile file install file  load new comp in your hal file now you should see all pins in halshow

the functional comp file is attached in post 4.
don't take the content of post 3, this is with errors.

I would like to start a conversation about a gear select comp etc. for my Deckel FP5 machine. chili023 is it ok if I post your FP4 stuff in a new thread as a starting point for the project.
I am a complete beginner when it comes to any type programming.

The FP5 should be simpler since it only used 2 motors one for
High Neutral Low
and one for
Low Med High gear

Sure post away. I can help you addapting Jin's comp to your FP5.
You just need to give me the datasheet wiring diagrams of your machine.

I attached my updated comp for my Deckel FP4. It is 95% done just needs some cleaning up.
