I haven't checked anything with a multimeter, yet.
I have been trying the manual spindle controls in axis and keystick.

Spindle step is on pin 14 and enable on 16, does that fit with what you expect?

Beyond the Break-Out-Board, I believe the KX3 uses this control board that LMS sells as an upgrade to SX3 mills.
littlemachineshop.com/instructions/4213C...ontrolUpgradeKit.pdf
I would expect connections to the F/R, Start/Stop, AVI, and GND from the BoB, in addition to the 110VAC power connections on the small control board. If you have those and it is still not working you might want to try temporarily wiring it according to the diagram on page 6 that can be used to confirm that the parts are all functional.
I have a Smithy 622 that I'm in the process of wiring with a 7i76E, same mill, same 1Kw BLDC spindle.

I'm intending on moving to a 7i76 in the near future. Until then my plan is:
* Get running with current PC and CNC4PC board
* move to new PC using parallel port
* install 6i25 in new PC
* install 7i76
The smithy 622 configs in linuxcnc have been helpful.

That makes sense with all of the pinouts I've seen thus far.

I finally got around to dropping a multimeter on the 0-10V spindle output and am getting millivolts out of it.
I've played with a few configurations of outputs and am still not getting any voltage out of it. I watched this spindle spin running Mach3, so I'm hesitant to say there's anything wrong with the hardware, but I'm scratching my head as to what it might be software-wise. Maybe my documentation is wrong pin-wise, like it was for the Z-axis home switch.

Have you checked the 0-10V with a multimeter? Is the VFD enable signal changing state?
what G-code are you using to attempt to start the spindle?

It spins!
Spindle stepping was on pin 9 :|

It never does to believe the documentation on these boards
