I am retrofitting a Bridgeport Series II knee mill with a Chinese AC servo and drive 'kit'. I would like to rigid tap and use spindle orient for probing operations. I'd like to keep control entirely within LinuxCNC and control the drive in velocity mode. My mill has a 7i77 with spare encoder inputs and differential outputs and ideally I'd like to control the spindle the same as the other axes on the mill, with a differential +/-10V signal.

The manual lists two pins for the 'analog voltage input port' and states 'voltage input range -10V~+10V'. This is a picture of the inputs in the manual.

What is the question?
Yes those are the pins to wire the analog out from the Mesa.

Mesa analog out is not diferential, it has a ground/common and AOUTn, that AOUT will go from -10 to +10V compared to that ground.
Aout to vref
gnd to gnd

Thanks!

I should have done some more research before posting, it seems quite obvious now.
