I used a similar one for a while.
If the motors are locked but not rotating then it sounds like the "enable" pins are being driven correctly.
Perhaps you need to invert the polarity of the "step" pulses in StepConf (a tick-box next to each parallel port pin).

JT can convert Mach3 XML to LinuxCNC configs. See this thread:

it would help if more detail is supplied , along with attached copys of your Hal & INI files , default microstepping used etc
these boards do work with linuxcnc , by far the main problem are configuring the Amplifier Enable pin
or pins need an invert etc . or you select a far higher pulse rate than they can accept .

Hi,

If the motor makes a small buzz sound when commanded, but does not move, I've found two things could generally be the problem:
(1) The Vref for the motor has not been set correctly (i.e. it is at zero).
(2) The STEP and DIR lines are reversed. This can be fixed in the software settings.

Hi,

You've given a "screenshot" of what you say works with mach3, then you have a screenshot of the LinuxCNC (EMC2).

The STEP and DIR pinouts do not match.

Your Mach3 are:
2 STEP X
3 DIR X
4 STEP Y
5 DIR Y
6 STEP Z
7 DIR Z

but that is not what you show in the link you provided.

wiki.zentoolworks.com/index.php/Morgan%2...ig_for_TB6560_driver

If Mach3 works with the board, then use those STEP/DIR pinouts, not the ones from the link.

their are many variations of the tb6560 , which is why your having problems , use the pinout you have in mach and hand edit your hal and ini files
